The information which will be captured includes: 

• the exact device which has been used as every device will have a unique barcode 
• details of the staff who have carried out the operation 
• information on which operating theatre the procedure was carried out in 
• details on the equipment which was used 
• the date and time of the operation  
• details of the patient who received the operation  

This information will then be stored so there is a digital record of all the different elements which were involved in your care.
