Scan for Safety will be implemented across Health Boards over the next three to five years. 

This will be done in two stages: 

Phase one: Rollout of Inventory Management System by Health Board 

The Inventory Management module has currently been rolled out to:

• NHS Lothian  
• NHS Shetland  
• NHS Orkney 
• NHS Grampian 
• NHS Dumfries & Galloway 
• NHS Forth Valley 
• NHS Highland 
• NHS Ayrshire & Arran 
• NHS Fife 
• Golden Jubilee 
• NHS Lanarkshire 

Phase two: The Point of Care module will be rolled out following inventory management module.
