Two main groups of staff will be involved with Scan for Safety on a day-to-day basis.  

• Clinical staff – those involved with procedures regarding Class III and IIb implantable medical devices will capture data regarding product, place, patient, procedure, staff and equipment. This data will be captured electronically, rather than manually, meaning there will be a reduction in the need to key data and manually enter information into multiple records/systems.   
•   Procurement staff – those involved with procurement and stock management will work with a new Inventory Management system which will provide better visibility of medical devices and consumables.
