Scotland is collaborating as part of the Four Nations to update medical device suppliers and Trade Associations about on-going work on their pioneering programmes.
Each of the Four Nations has established their own programme but are working together to improve patient safety.
The Four Nations recently issued a joint letter to industry detailing the ongoing work to improve patient safety through better traceability of medical devices and equipment using global standards such as GS1.
