Scan for Safety Scotland was delighted to again attend this year’s P4H Scotland, as over 800 delegates descended upon Edinburgh’s EICC to network and join discussions on the day.
P4H is Scotland’s dedicated healthcare supply event, bringing together buyers and suppliers to learn about key issues impacting the current and future planning of the health care supply chain. This includes sharing learning as well as discussions and innovations around both financial and environmental sustainability.
At the event, Scan for Safety’s Lindsay Robertson and Frankie Wallace presented to delegates, sharing progress about the programme so far, as it prepares to roll out its first three pilots in NHS Scotland boards, this summer.
In addition, teams were delighted to meet many current engaged suppliers as well as chat to any remaining NHS Scotland suppliers who are interested in engaging with the programme and implementing the GS1 standards that underpin it.
Future events
For any suppliers who weren’t able to attend P4H Scotland, there will be further opportunities to meet the Scan for Safety teams at events this year, including Procurex (Birmingham NEC 1st June) and Procurex Scotland in late October.
In addition, a special ten step guide for suppliers looking to adopt GS1 standards, has been produced for NHS suppliers across the four nations. This has been published on our website and can be found here.
